The John Muir Way runs along the coastline of East Lothian and is named after the father of the environment movement, John Muir, who lived in Dunbar as a boy and subsequently emigrated to the USA. He is responsible for the establishment of America's National Parks. Further detailed information on other sections of the Scottish Coastal Way can be found here. Also, the Links page will give you information with a list of "mini" coastal web sites that cover other areas. Enjoy the walk! |
